How Does it Work?
Simply take a picture of the math problem you want to solve. Click the "Solve" button and there's your answer!
MathShot! uses advanced character recognition to convert math
problems into symbolic expressions in a formal system. The
solution is then computed and displayed to the screen.
April 1, 2012. Georgia Tech announced today that, starting in Fall 2012, they will be providing every student with a free copy of MathShot!
Since MathShot! can handle any undergraduate level math problem at the click of a button, Georgia Tech also expects to reduce the size of their mathematics department by more than 50%. This will result in a huge savings because undergraduate students will no longer need to take mathematics classes.
Say Goodbye to Math class
Mathematics is the core of modern engineering and science. With MathShot! you can avoid learning useless math theory and just get the answer you crave.Never do another computation with your pencil and paper! You can use MathShot! for elementary, middle and high school math, too.
MathShot! is available for any Android or iOS device, and will run on Windows 8.
MathShot! is completely legal in 49 states and Guam, but for some weird reason there is a legal challenge in North Dakota so it cannot be distributed there. That should only be a problem for one or two people but we have to mention it.
The app is available for free download to authorized Georgia Tech students.
Outside of Georgia Tech it is $10.
We are also developing MathShot! Lite which will have a simpler interface for students at non-engineering schools like the University of Georgia.
People are talking on the Internet about us …
"MathShot! is the best app ever. I can get all my math homework done in minutes and that gives me more time to look at funny memes! "Calculus student
"It is critical for engineering and science students to be able to compute the solution to mathematics problems quickly and accurately. We have done rigorous testing with MathShot! and it can handle any mathematics problem that an undergraduate student is likely to come across. Now I can retire."- Dr. Loof Lirpa
President of MathShot! Software
